Lisa healthy eating plan
'I used to think if I ate less, I'd lose weight. If I cut out breakfast I'd be doing well, and cutting out lunch I'd be happier - how wrong I was. A personal trainer has assured me that having calories at breakfast time gets your metabolism working!'
Breakfast
'I love muesli and a banana and fresh orange juice. Then, if I want more I'll have scrambled eggs or Johnny makes perfect dippy eggs with wholemeal soldiers. Then if I'm still hungry I'll top up with fresh fruit!'
Lunch
'Jacket potato with tuna is one of my favourite lunches. Maybe with a bit of Flora -I'm not a butter person.'
Dinner
Johnny and I always try to eat a proper evening meal together - no matter how tired we are with Jaden! Johnny's spag bol usually does the trick, although I'm partial to fish with loads of steamed vegetables.'
'To stop my cravings for cake I took something called Slendex. which is a 100% natural supplement. I took one tablet 30 minutes before every meal and it stopped me overeating because I just felt naturally full. It's really helped me, and is a discreet way to stay in control.' We can't feeling nervous about posing for our bikini photo shoot - after all. the former Steps singer only gave birth to her adorable son Jaden eight weeks ago.
And there aren't many women brave enough to be seen in swimwear that soon. Oh my God,' she giggles as she picks up a pair of bikini bottoms, they re so small!' But when we hold up some hipsters she laughs, 'Oh -that's better.'
The 5ft 3in 32-year-old has lost an amazing 2st since having Jaden and is back to a pre-pregnancy 7 & half stone. But Lisa, who's married to ex-Hear'Say singer Johnny Shentall, 29. is quick to point out that motherhood's changed her figure, and our shoot is her way of embracing her curvier looks. And seeing her cradle her son it's clear her No 1 priority is being a healthy mum rather than a skinny star...
Lisa, you look amazing. Are you happy with the way your body's changed since the birth?
Since Jaden was born I'm definitely curvier - my boobs have gone up from a C cup to a DD! But the biggest surprise was discovering I've got hips to match my boobs.
Johnny says I've never looked sexier, it's given me a tremendous boost and I feel that having Jaden has finally given me the hourglass figure I've always wanted. I'm proud to celebrate my new curves.
Did you feel any pressure to get back in shape quickly?
There's a lot of pressure to get your figure back these days. People see celebrity mums doing it and feel they have to do the same. And celeb mums feel the pressure from other celeb mums! You see someone else get back into shape and think you'd better get on with it - it's the way our industry works.
Nicole Richie looked great when she was pregnant, but within four weeks of giving birth she was back to a size 4, which is shocking. I've heard of people having these so-called mummy-tuck operations, but there's no way I'd do that.
I'm proud of the way motherhood has changed my body. I know I've lost weight, but I'm not the same shape I was and that is fine by me.
Do you see yourself as a healthy role model?
I like to think that I've always appearead healthy, not skinny. I'll have a curry and a bottle of wine because I think it's more important to live life.
You're famous for your flat turn. How did you adjust to losing that during pregnancy?
My flat stomach had been such a part of my life and my look for so many years that it was quite a big deal coming to terms with my new shape. Before I got pregnant I'd never missed a day. let alone nine months, without doing a sit-up. It was so hard for me to get out of that routine. But with a baby coming I was happy to learn to relax and let go.
Did you find shifting the baby weight easier because you were in great shape before?
Yes. In my Steps days. I went to the gym three times a week, but I don't think I've ever been as fit as I was after Dancing On Ice. I've always looked after myself, but right now that's the last thing on my mind.
Have you changed your diet?
Yes - but only to keep my energy levels up! Before having Jaden. I'd probably have cut out carbs for a photo-shoot like this, but now I have to be selfless - he needs me at my best, not running on zero energy because I'm too scared too eat a bagel!
Are you looking forward to showing off your new shape?
One reason I wanted to do this shoot is that I love bikinis! I've got a fantastic selection which I bought for our honeymoon four years ago in Tahiti - one for every day. I just can't wait to see how they look with my new curves.
