Lisa will be Dancing her way on to you're TV in 2007, we can now confirm that Lisa is to take part in ITV's hit show 'Dancing On Ice'.
Lisa will be paired up with a professional ice skater and coached by world class ice dancing partners Jayne Torvill & Christopher Dean.
Lisa will be joined by ten other star contestants with the likes of Blue singer Duncan James and Boyzone star Stephen Gately.
Other stars taking part in the reality series are rugby star Kieran Bracken, Sky News host Kay Burley, actress Clare Buckfield, presenter Ulrika Jonsson, Emmerdale actress Emily Symons, ex-footballer Lee Sharpe, DJ Neil Fox and newsreader Phil Gayle.

Dancing On Ice is due to start on the 20th Jan 2007 on ITV1.

Yes its true but shes fine now and was other week in manchester so no need to worry. From what lisa says she popped it out and was not a break like the sun report. but again it happened weeks ago and shes fine :)

where not 100% sure on date as a few are flying around, i had 18th here at first but been told today it might be the 13th now whats more like it as its a sat. but rachelle had already updated the myspace and is at work now so can not edit.

yeah i know the 18th is a thur trust me i been having stress for days as we first got told the 20th whats a sat then 18th and now 13th and im trying to get stuff sorted and booked up and rachelles plane over and everything.
awww okies im hopin to get my tv guide for week beginnin the 6th (as they start on the saturdays) and it may say in there bout it so will have a look if u havent found out by then :)

Glad to hear that Lisa is ok. I'm getting really excited by this! I can't wait to see Lisa on tv again. I'm sure she'll brilliant on this show! WOO I just can't wait!

Foxy is supposedly really good - he's been training at Streatham rink with Pam O'Connor. Still avidly looking for who is partnering Lisa (I sorta know who isn't), but it will be fab!
Tickets are available from http://www.applausestore.co.uk - although it's a waiting list scheme on it.

then why not say that before when i first posted it ? i would have edited my very first post instead of it being deleted
there is a link above now i believe but i would suspect too late for anyone to be lucky enough to get tickets now unless they knew about this weeks ago and on the waiting list and are lucky enough to get cancellation tickets :starjump:
even on the waiting list theres no saying you get tickets, most go to them on waiting list that have been to other shows with that booking company, and for anyone who does get tickets i would say make sure you check the dress code, if not sure contact them as you dont want to risk being turned away at the doors on the day.

they dnt ususally turn u away on doors - they usually give u summit to wear outta their scuzzy box ha ha
This and Big & Big Bro are the only ones I have never heard back from. I apply for that every bloody year ha ha
We applied for ours much longer than 6 weeks ago, it was in October and we still havent heard anything. lol AND we've been to a million ITV shows b4 so I really dont think theyve issued them yet.

No I agree with u there Carrie, I think the person I am talking about requested them ages ago too, when the rumours first started cos I remember I was in London when they txt me to see if I knew anything.
Its weird how the dates are all over the place though - cos applause says 18th, which is odd if the show is supposed to be live. I dunno - never watched the last un lol.

I am very worried that she will be the Emma Bunton of the show i.e. the best by absolutely miles but hated by the public cos she is a "professional" dancer and therefore its unfair etc!!!

Yay i think I'm on the waiting list.
They usually only contact you a couple if not the day before the show, to make sure they fill it.
Also Aplausestore quite often oversubscribe so you need to get there early.
I missed out on BB a couple of times cos there were too many people!
All Tv shows over subscribe. Its common practice. They need to make sure they have an audience.
Tor.....I think the rumours started b4 that. I was told shes definitely doing it by a friend of hers in October and thats when we applied for them. Im not holding out much hope now tho... Its disgusting actually, im thinking of complaining about it. I cant be doing with people who can't find their arse with both hands and any TV show that doesnt issue tickets to any of the star/s fans is clearly incompetant. and im saying that from experience. Danny from CDUK would laugh in their faces!

yeh I would say its the 20th chick ... Lisa said the 20th and someone told me last night that philip schofield said its the 20th. I think applause.com is stupid too carrie. It would not take much for them to set up a system to at least let people know when they should hear from them by.

Definitely starts on the 20th - Phillip Schofield confirmed it on This Morning on Jan 2nd. DOI has been replaced in the schedules with a Harry Potter film.
I applied to Applause store in March when the waiting list first opened for series 2 and haven't heard. Talking to friends who were lucky enough to go last year, they tend to phone or email you a week before the date they have available for you, and you have to confirm within 24hours.
Applause store have the date as Thursday 18th. As last year, this is the full, non-televised dress rehearsal with the first live show on the 20th. Dates are released as and when available. :)
