I have done a temp fix on buying food. once you click on the link to buy it it be buyed they be no box coming up asking is your sure.

You can Resurrect dead pets via the graveyard.

pick the graveyard from the pets menu and then click Resurrect, this will then show you your dead pets, pick the one you want to Resurrect and click submit this will take you to your dead pets profile where you click on Resurrect and you got your dead pet back for a cost.

people never use all the other stuff to do with the pets. like fights and all that as it makes your pet smarter/faster/stronger if you win.
