Help!

When I try to play music on my laptop there is no sound.

I was wounderign what I should do and if anyone could help.

make sure the sound is on, vol is turn up, and the sound settings are not on mute.

check the sound card is installed and as the right driver.

Yeah the volume is up to its loudest and its not on mute, still no sound.

like i say check the sound card is installed and as the right driver if they look right reinstall the sound card via the cd you got with your laptop.

If that dont work take it a shop to have it checked over.

do you get the windows logon music?

Its ok Ive managed to sort it now. Must of pressed something by accident when I was trying to sort it in the first place.

which program do you use to play the music, windows media e.t.c

check that the volkume is up on that program and that there is no mute

next check on the sound controls that the wave sound setting is on full without mute, same goes for cds
