Yeh it was born 5 weeks early. But babies can survive that - He was born with a serious thing (inside him) which meant he's organs and stuff we're outside their poper place. The doc's did operate to fix it, but it was just really sudden.

yer, they've obviously done it to keep the figures high, apparantly they film about 4 different endings to stories like this, so not even the actors/actresses can spill the beans, it has happened, so they don't take the chance now.

Thats a load of crap!! They only did that for the "who shot phil" story line. They film one ending for stories like this. It takes them weeks to film sceens, and they don't have time to film loads of endings. Everyone knew ages ago.. one of the main characters was leaving / being killed off. It was just guess work as to who.

Then both Shane & Jessie wanted to leave... and Sharon & Dennis are too. They relaise they are loosing alot of huge characters at the same time. Thats why they are bringing in more new ones. But sorry no-one can ever replace the Slaters, Moons and Mitchells!!! Those families are one of a kind!

hmm i sure if you read the stats people in REALITY loose theirs around that age now. Soaps try to portray what happens in the real world as much as it can to make it believe able.

Actually you'll find that Martine, Ross Kemp (Grant), Tamzin Outwaite (Mel) and a few others have done well since leaving Eastenders. Nigel is going on to do Panto (as most do...) and then who knows.
